A four-year full-time programme studying human communities, cultures, action and thought from an international perspective.
Anthropology at Aberdeen studies the diversity of human communities and cultures and brings together theories about being human from Western and non-Western thinkers. The programme uses international research perspectives and develops cross-cultural understanding and analytical skills.

2026 Entry: SQA Highers Standard BBBB; A Levels Standard BBC; BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma DMM in related subjects; Irish Leaving Certificate five subjects at Higher at H3; International Baccalaureate 32 points including 5, 5, 5 at HL. National 5/GCSE English requirement applies.
Year 2 articulation is available through specified HNC Social Sciences routes and subject-unit requirements.
