Designed for students and professionals aged 18 and above, the programme runs annually from July to August and spans a focused three-week duration.
Courses may be combined with optional add-ons such as the Preparatory English Online Programme or the Exploring British Culture Week, offering extended academic and cultural engagement.
The programme is taught entirely in English. While no formal English language test is required, students should be confident in their ability to participate actively in discussions, group work, and assessments.

Academic Structure & Subjects Offered

Each course includes 60 hours of structured teaching, delivered through lectures, seminars, workshops, revision classes, guest lectures, and supervised study groups.
In addition, students are expected to complete 90 hours of independent study, encouraging critical thinking, research skills, and academic discipline.

Exploring British Culture Week
Students seeking deeper cultural engagement may choose to extend their experience through the Exploring British Culture Week.
This additional week focuses on key themes such as Shakespeare, British history, and UK politics, delivered through lectures, seminars, and related field trips.
The programme includes an overnight stay in London and is supported by Warwick student ambassadors who live and engage with participants throughout the week.
Students also take part in an enterprise project focused on pitching a sustainable start-up, helping them develop teamwork, communication, and innovation skills.
Participants in this week receive a 25% discount on Warwick Summer School tuition fees, making it a valuable and enriching extension to the core programme.
Eligibility Criteria
Warwick Summer School is open to students and professionals who are 18 years or older at the time the programme begins. There are no formal academic prerequisites for most courses, making the programme accessible to learners from diverse educational backgrounds.
Participants aged 16–17 are advised to apply for Warwick’s Pre-University Summer School instead, which is specifically designed to support younger students.
What’s Included in Fees
Warwick Summer School Tuition Fee- £2,600 (Student Rate) and £3,500 (Standard Rate)
Exploring British Culture Week (inclusive of 1-week catered accommodation)- £2,310
Fees cover all academic instruction, access to guest lectures, social and cultural programming, and use of university facilities.
Accommodation is booked and paid for separately, allowing students flexibility in selecting options that suit their budget. Students may also choose catering packages as part of their accommodation arrangement. Optional excursions and some additional activities may incur extra costs.
Accommodation & Student Support
Students can choose to stay on the University of Warwick campus, enjoying modern halls of residence with single study bedrooms and en-suite facilities.
Available residences include Sherbourne, Jack Martin, and Arthur Vick Halls, all conveniently located near teaching spaces and campus amenities. Students living on campus also receive access to the university’s state-of-the-art Sports and Wellness Hub, including gym and swimming pool facilities.

Awards, Certifications & Academic Recognition
Upon successful completion of the programme and meeting attendance requirements, students receive an official University of Warwick Certificate of Attendance. This certificate is issued after the programme concludes and serves as formal recognition of participation in a globally respected academic institution.
Students who choose to complete the optional course assessment also receive an official University of Warwick transcript of results. This transcript can often be used for academic credit transfer, equivalent to 15 CATS, 7.5 ECTS, or 3 US credits, subject to approval by the student’s home instituti
