Post-study work permit: Australia's post-study work permits allow you to have the experience of a practical job after your degree. In Australia there is an extension of post-study work visa for international students. From 1 July 2023, a two-year extension is announced for the international students enrolled in courses like teaching, nursing, and engineering. Over 3,000 courses are eligible for an additional 2-years extention on Temporary Graduate visa.

Extensions will increase from:

  • Two years to four years for select Bachelor degrees
  • Three years to five years for select Masters degrees
  • Four years to six years for all doctoral degrees.
