Essential Eligibility Criteria to study in Canada


The following key documents will strengthen your application for studying in Canada from India.

Academic Records: Submit transcripts(read our blog on Australia) or mark sheets from your previous degree or diploma.

Standardized Test Scores: Provide GMAT or GRE scores (GMAT score of 500- 700 out of 800 is required to study in a good Canadian university) if you are applying for MBA or Masters programs.

Statement of Purpose (SOP) & Letters of Recommendation (LOR): Include a well-crafted SOP and LORs in your application.

English Proficiency Tests: Depending on the program, present scores from IELTS (6.5 overall with no bands less than 6 / it totally depends upon the course and institution requirement) C1 Advanced. For French-taught programs, submit proficiency test results like TCF, TEF, DELF, or DALF.

Financial Proof: Demonstrate sufficient funds to cover your study and living expenses in Canada.

CV Submission: Update and submit your CV as required by the application.

Additional Requirements for Master’s or Ph.D. Programs: If applying for Master’s or Ph.D., provide two academic reference letters. If you haven’t studied in Canada before, complete an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA).
